Sisters born and raised in Florida spending their childhood and formative years experiencing all aspects of Old Florida. As soon as opportunity knocked they packed up and moved out west in search of black gold and Texas tea.
Cut to 20 years later....the sisters came back to Crystal River to attend a family reunion. They both quickly realized they had neglected their inner mermaid and had been land locked for way too long.
Now you can say the sisters are on a quest to explore the Old Florida as they remembered it growing up, what the new Nature Coast has to offer, and all the back roads in between.
The older and wiser sister, Amy, pursued an academic career studying Mesoamerican archaeology and then working many field seasons in the Maya jungles of Belize. One day a family friend offered her a job on a cross country film shoot stating that running archaeological field excavations were very similar to running film sets. Amy jumped at the chance and never looked back. Since that day she has never stopped producing for major studios, networks, streaming platforms, iconic music videos and hundreds of commercials. After living and working in Los Angeles and Las Vegas for 20 years, Amy has re-rooted herself where her love of history and natural wonder all began, Florida's Gulf Coast.
The younger and prettier sister, Alicia, left her beach side life to settle in Denver and then Scottsdale where she fine tuned a career as a global mover and shaker in world-wide trade and logistics.. A decade or so later she decided to trade in her cargo culture for the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. She gambled it all to join her sister in tv and film industry where she quickly mastered the accounting and production management aspects of show business. After 20 years residing west of the Mississippi, Alicia is now based out of Florida's Nature Coast, still produces quality tv, and loves photographing Old Florida sunsets.
